Orthocare Innovations will soon hit the market with its next generation prosthetic device that is the closest to emulating human ankle to facilitate adaptation for various kind of terrain. So much that you can adjust the prosthetic using the smartphone app letting you take control of the device itself without bending down to adjust the foot and ankle prosthetics. According to McWilliams, CEO and co-founder, Orthocare Innovations the device is going to be called Magellan and is all set for the commercial launch in the coming months.

Magellan has a microprocessor, sensors and in-build hydraulics that either adjust the device in such a way that you don’t have to make the adjustments or let you make subtle changes to the ankle anytime you want.
