Geeks over at IBM have developed a unique radio controlled car (RC car) that can be controlled from anywhere in the world by using the Liberty profile server. Having a Raspberry Pi computer installed on board, the Liberty Car has web application running on the Liberty server which controls all the functions of the RC car. All you need is a WiFi connection, JavaScript capable server and the USB powered router located under the chassis of the car controls it without a hitch. To control the speed and direction of the car you have to log-in to a Dojo webpage which presents all the control elements of the car in a 2D interface.

The user interface has a feature that allows you to speed the car forward without losing control over it, as the UI provides current steering values and speed values so that car stops moving in case it hurls outside the range. Servos and motor provide the steering and driving input for the car and a 7.2 battery pack makes sure it provides unlimited fun.
