When you strap on a camera to your head in event of an adrenal gushing adventure sport to capture those breathtaking images and video, you hope the camera in use is the best mountable camera you can lay your hands on. GoPro cameras with their unsurpassable mounting ability have been the best in the business thus far, but now Flyte Tech has launched the Flytecam to take on the GoPro’s amazing cameras. The Flytecam with  wide view lens is good enough to shoot full HD shots at 60fps.

The 1080p point-of-view (POV) video camera is cased inside a rubber casing, which makes the Flytecam amazingly rugged and waterproof up to 3 meters deep. The Flytecam can be mounted using Flytemount – a secure mount comprising of rubber teeth and neodymium magnets. The rugged video camera is expected to be priced pretty economical at under $200 (starting rage for GoPro cameras) and will be available in four different colors (silver, pink, green and blue) to choose from. For the inquisitive, pre-orders are slated to begin soon, so stay tuned.
