And this time around we have a very rare limited edition chronograph watch dubbed as Scalfaro GTO 1962 Bizzarrini Edition Chronograph Watch made from the DNA of Ferrari 250 GTO owned by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason. The watch of course is a tribute to the legendary Italian designer Giotto Bizzarrini and Scalfaro created a limited edition of these watches in collaboration with L’Ingegnere Giotto Bizzarrini who played a major role in developing the GTO’s engineering bit almost 50 years ago. Each of these exclusive chronograph’s limited to 250 pieces only will have signature of Giotto Bizzarrini on the face of the watch.
It will have Swiss mechanical manufacture, La Joux-Perret chronograph movement, sapphire crystal, off-shape bezel, choice of black strap having cylinder ignition pattern of Colombo V12 engine or Horween shell cordovan strap, folding buckle and is water resistant to 100 meters.
In addition to all this there are GTO’s design characteristics embedded into the watch like side air outlets, 3-eared wheel spinners and gearshift pattern. Each of these chronograph watches will have the original material of ex-Ecurie Francorchamps 250 GTO chassis no. 3757GT owned by Nick Mason.
Scalfaro GTO 1962 Bizzarrini Edition Chronograph Watch has automatic winding mechanism and a skeletonized rotor for that amazing look and feel. Each piece will be individually numbered and packed in an exclusive wooden box, add to this the rare artisanal process combining traditional crafts and modern technology, this watch edition truly reflects the passion that led to the creation of GTO sports car.

SCALFARO GTO 1962 BIZZARRINI WATCH EDITION
Created in Collaboration with Ing. Giotto Bizzarrini & Car Collector Nick Mason – featuring original 250 GTO Material in the Watch Case
Inspired by the world’s most legendary sports car: the iconic 250 GTO launched in 1962, watch manufacture SCALFARO created the limited GTO 1962 BIZZARRINI EDITION of mechanical Swiss timepieces featuring original material from one of the most prominent GTO cars – the ex-Ecurie Francorchamps chassis no. 3757GT. The design and creation of this truly special edition was realized in close collaboration with “L’Ingegnere” Giotto Bizzarrini who was the leading engineer in the GTO’s development over 50 years ago as well as Pink Floyd drummer and car collector Nick Mason who supplied genuine parts of his GTO for this edition. These parts were subsequently integrated into the watch cases, so that each of the numbered edition watches not only features numerous design elements from the GTO, but also contains the authentic DNA of this sports car icon and thus a direct link to its fascinating history. The signature of Giotto Bizzarrini adorns the face of each chronograph and underlines the exclusivity of this edition limited to 250 pieces. Further details include: 42mm case diameter, Scalfaro Ceramic DNA Intarsia, finely decorated Swiss mechanical Manufacture La Joux-Perret chronograph movement, off-shape bezel, sapphire crystal, see-through case back, choice of black natural rubber strap incl. cylinder ignition pattern of the Colombo V12 engine or Horween shell cordovan strap, elegant folding buckle, water-resistant to 100m (330ft).
