EA Sports FIFA 15 will feature emotional intelligence for hyper-realistic gameplay
FIFA World Cup 2014 is over-shadowing every other sport right now on air, and as this extravaganza unleashes the final stages in Brazil, fans all over the world are going bonkers. On the other side FIFA 15 is getting everyone excited as it comes with more improved features and special attention towards the whole emotional aspect of the gameplay. Yes, FIFA 15 is going to be out this September and I just can’t wait to get my hands on it.
# Official EA Sports FIFA 15 trailer
As compared to earlier titles, this edition of EA Sports take on virtual reality football experience is going to be a notch higher owing to the new gameplay engine and focus on the exhilarating emotional feelings of playing the sport. So why am I so excited about EA Sports FIFA 15, let’s have a look at some key pointers.
# Emotional intelligence
For the first time ever, FIFA 15 developers have been able to incorporate 600 new emotional reactions that are initiated depending on the situation of the game. Bad tackles, missed goals and defending skills will have different reactions from different players depending on their emotional state during that stage of play. That is comparable to real life situation where players react in a different way depending on the intensity of the game, their opponent and the time of the match. This will make you, as a player feel the real emotions of the virtual players on the field.
# Team tactics
The players will have artificial intelligence to adjust the tactics depending on the game situation. Both teammates and opponents will try and adjust the gameplay based on the match situation which makes FIFA 15 even more real. For example the AI opponent will push the ball into the box if they are behind whereas they will try to wind down the clock and frustrate you to win the game if they are in the lead.
# Player control
FIFA 15 will have far superior player control than in FIFA 14 as the players try to be more responsive and have their own personality. The ball spin is going to be more real and in-flight curl too is going to be far superior. Moreover the touch of players is going to be as close to real as it can be. For example, Messi is going to be more of a dribbler and swift mover; just like in real life.
# Player visuals and crowd
This time around FIFA 15 is going to have excellent visuals, for players as well as the crowd. Players will be more athletic and look like their real like footballers. The player kit will have mud and other things as the match progresses, like in real life; giving the game more realism. To take the emotional aspect to the next level, the crowd is going to be real too! Compare this to FIFA 14 where the crowd was simply disappointing. FIFA 15 will however bring a smile to your face as the crowd will look real and even behave and chant based on game situations.
# Game visuals
The on pitch wear and tear will also be real making this FIFA title unmatchable to its predecessor. The pitch will wear in real time as the game progresses, for example it will have player skid marks and shoe stamps on the spots where the players shoe land during the play. Other aspect incorporated into this title is the realism of grass which is simply eye-pleasing.
Other than all these features FIFA 15 will have much more, for example commentators will reflect on the crowd behavior in real time, i.e. if the fans are chanting for Arsenal then commentators will say it. The set piece control is going to be more dynamic as you’ll have the control to place players in specific positions to take set pieces.
All-in-all FIFA 15 is going to raise the bar higher in football game realism and the emotional aspect connected to it. The release date is slated for 23 September 2014 and you can pre-order it right now. As a big time FIFA fan I just can’t wait to bring the battle to my fellow competitors in the virtual world of FIFA.
