How about a 3D printed Apple iWatch?
If your patience is running out in the wait of eagerly awaited Apple iWatch, then this might bring a smile to your face. Today,we have brought to you a 3D printed version of the iWatch (of course it’s fake) that surely will give you something to cheer about. Stewart Davies, a product design graduate from University of Edinburgh has created a 3D printed iPod watch strap for the Apple’s 6th generation of the iPod Nano. Both of these products can combine to become a cool iWatch, at least something to fool your friends.
The design was posted by Stewart on the My Mini Factory 3D printed object repository and is absolutely free to download so that you can print a watch strap at home. However, if you don’t own a printer there is no need to worry as you can order yourself an already printed version for just $9.99 at My Mini Factory.
Compatible with Apple’s 6th generation of the iPod Nano, the iPod watch strap is made from a flexible filament called Ninjaflex. The iPod comfortably fits into the strap offering easy access to the buttons and audio port and also has a double lock system for safety. The strap only weighs 13 grams and can be printed in about 60 to 75 minutes.
