Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch specifications and price unearthed
Moto 360 smartwatch by Motorola Mobility has been in the headlines, ever since it was first revealed five months ago. There have been many speculations regarding the pricing and features that Motorola wants to flaunt in their inaugural smartwatch with a very attractive design. Now, another bold reveal by Best Buy makes us believe that Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch is going to carry a price tag of $249.99, according to their product price listing page. This is a very surprising reveal since Best Buy not only has listed the price but also the features available in Moto 360 that were earlier not in the light. Apparently, Motorola is expected to make launch details of the Moto 360 smartwatch at a press conference to be hosted on September 4 in Chicago.
However the details have been pulled off by Best buy, but still Droid-Life managed to get a screenshot of the listing that reveals much more than what Motorola would have liked. First up, the smartwatch will have a 1.5-inch backlit LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 290 at 205 ppi for easy-to-read visuals. This display is going to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for increased durability. Secondly, it is going to have a built-in optical heart rate monitor and pedometer to keep track of your heart rate and fitness programs during the day. Thirdly, it is going to be powered by Texas Instruments processor and have 512MB of RAM for hitch-free processing. On top of that, it is going to be waterproof to a depth of 3.3 meter for a duration of 30 minutes.
Moto 360 smartwatch will measure 1.8×1.8×0.4 inches and weigh 2.1oz in total. The gadget is going to be encased in stainless steel and plastic material which keeps it contemporary and close to what a watch should look like. And it comes as no surprise that it is going to be compatible with Android 4.3 OS and Bluetooth 4.0 technology.
