The feature rich Asus ZenWatch (WI500Q) revealed at the IFA 2014 has finally gone on sale in the US for a price tag of $199. It is worth mentioning that this smartwatch is one of most good-looking smartwatch, if not the best in the market, alongside the Moto 360 smartwatch. Android Wear powered Asus Zenwatch produced in partnership with Google has a very elegantly designed rectangular display that is contoured quite well at the edges. The smartwatch sporting premium rose gold color layering and stitched-leather watchband gives the user option to choose from over 100 watch faces depending on mood.

The smartwatch has a customized UI called the ZenUI which is an overlay to the Google Android Wear OS. This makes integrating the smart gestures like Do it later or other functions like Watch Unlock, Presentation Control etc. easy. Along with that the smartwatch has health tracking features too like calories burnt, steps taken in a day or the activity duration.

When compared with the Moto 360 smartwatch that has a 1.56” display having 320×290 resolution at 205ppi and 320mAh battery, the Asus ZenWatch surely is better. Moreover the 100+ watch face option also gives it an advantage when it comes to customization. And to top it off the price is also $50 less that the Motorola smartwatch.

Although if you the lucky one, you can also win this cool looking smartwatch for free by signing-up at the Asus portal.
