We’ll have to wait until next year so as to can get our hands on the Apple Watch. Till now, the company has managed to hide most of the details about the device. However, to keep people interested and curious about the device, Apple has launched a Software Development Kit for Apple developers who are looking to create apps for the smartwatch. Good news for Apple fans and potential customers of the Apple watch here is that the SDK has hinted on various design details and specifications of the first Apple wearable.
We already know that the Apple Watch will be offered in two sizes. Now along with that, the resolution of the two models is also revealed. The 42-millimeter variant will feature a 390 × 312-pixel resolution screen and the 38-millimeter variant will come with a 340 × 272 pixel resolution display. The smartwatch will also come with a new font, called San Francisco which is designed specifically for legibility on Apple Watch. Besides that, the screen will provide access to two types of notifications- Glance, which will provide a quick and tiny information so that user can go through it in a single peek. The second notification screen is the Actionable that provides the user detailed data to perform required actions just by tapping on the Glance notification screen or keeping your wrist up.
