Samsung Galaxy S Edge rumored to have curved edge screen
Curved edge smartphones have given a new design aesthetic to the boring old screen and phone manufacturers are catching up with this trend fast. LG showed off their curved edge screen phone at CES 2015 and now Samsung Galaxy S6’s next generation is most likely to have a curved edge screen variant. This leak comes courtesy an anonymous developer from GalaxyClub who stumbled on the webpage source code of Vodafone Netherlands website and found the telling note for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Since it has been mentioned in the telling note clearly about the pre-order form of Samsung Galaxy S Edge, therefore most probably the curved edge screen phone will be revealed when finally it is launched on 2 March 2015. To further fuel the speculation, developer also found the placeholder images in the carrier’s website webpage. The smartphone will have a curved edge screen that extends the viewing area much beyond the contemporary screen area.
It will have the Quad HD Super AMOLED screen right up to the edge and most likely the other hardware is going to be similar to the normal Samsung Galaxy S6. It will have a 64-bit 8-core 14nm CPU, 20MP OIS camera sensor, 5MP f/1.8 front-facing camera, 2550mAh battery, wireless charging, Gorilla Glass 4 and many other features.
