Ideum Duet Multitouch Coffee Table runs both Android and Windows OS
To be frank we haven’t seen much of interactive touch tables in the last few months or so. But now Ideum Duet Multitouch Coffee Table brings a refreshing new take on the touch interactive tables. This interactive table has both Android and Windows 8 installed on-board, giving it the ability to interact with applications from both these operating environments. Ideum Duet table will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 for both 42-inch or 46-inch models.
The touch interactive table has an independent Intel Edison chip on board to facilitate fast switching between the two operating systems in just 2 seconds. It has two different hardware configurations for both Android and Windows 8 giving it limitless functionalities when compared to other touch interactive tables.
The 42-inch variant of the table has 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5-4570R processor with integrated Iris Pro Graphics 5200, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. While the 46-inch model comes with 3.5 GHz Intel Core 17-4710Q chip, Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 graphics card, 16GB memory and 512GB SSD storage.
For the Android 4.4 KitKat version this table has a 2.0 GHz Rockchip RK3288 processor mated to a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable to 32 GB).
The water resistant (IP54 grade) smart table is made from rugged material including aircraft-grade aluminum and cold-rolled steel, thereby giving it structural strength to withstand any ill-treatment. The anti-glare glass panel of the table is chemically strengthened, and is capable providing 60 touch points (in a single instance) for Windows 8 and 12 multi-touch instances for Android. To identify any false palm touches, the table has palm rejection technology.
Ideum Duet Multitouch Coffee Table will start shipping from next month for a starting price tag for $7,950 USD.
