MWC 2015: Huawei Watch is an impressive Android Wear smartwatch
Huawei has released their first ever smartwatch at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, and it is damn impressive. Matching Moto 360 smartwatch in the looks, the Huawei Watch is a stunner, and dare I say it is even better than other smartwatches in the market. With a classic analog watch design, this smartwatch also doubles as a fitness tracker by analyzing your heart rate and other activities. The 1.2GHz Qualcomm APQ8026 smartwatch is going to be well assisted by the 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM along with all the sensors including barometer, PPG and vibration motor.
The Android Wear powered smartwatch has a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen at 400×400 resolution and 286 pixel per inch which is protected by sapphire crystal glass. Huawei has promised that the watch will come with around 40 watch faces to customize the look and plethora of analog-watch looks including one in moon-phase display.
The strap too will come in choice of stainless steel or leather in different makes for men and women. Huawei Watch will come in silver, black or gold color options which are well suited for urban users.
For now there is no reveal about the pricing, but the smartwatch that pairs with any Android phone using Bluetooth LE will be sold in over 20 countries including Europe and America. As soon as there will be any update on the pricing or release date we’ll let you know.
