Geneva Motor Show 2015: Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept is exotically sexy hybrid sports car
At the ongoing Geneva Motor Show, Bentley has turned eyeballs with its latest beast. The Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept is a two-seater hybrid sports car draped in luxury, and perhaps the most tech savvy car on show at the auto show. EXP denotes the “Experimental” and “Speed 6” signifies the classic 6-speed cruiser. The car is designed very aerodynamically and even resembles the Aston Martin Vulcan from the rear. It has very muscular bodywork that draws inspiration from aerodynamic form of aircrafts and very meticulously represents a speedy car.
The hybrid sports car having a petrol-electric power-train is a treat to watch from the exteriors and exteriors with copper elements and accents that exemplify its hybrid properties. In-fact the interiors have flowing lines that continue from the cabin and into the symmetrical wings and back into the doors before ending in the console armrest.
Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept has driving controls and intuitive 12” touchscreen and two-metal 3D texturing which further zooms-in on its futuristic design. And it is true to say that the car invokes the feeling of love. That is exactly what Bentley’s Head of Advanced Design believes as he says that unless you fall in love with a car, it’s a failure.
The car is well past its concept stage and looks all good to make it to the road. Only a few things that we might not see in the production version may be the headlamps and the subtle behind the front grille. We can expect to see the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 hit the tarmac by 2018, so keep dreaming on.
