Hublot, the pioneer in watch-making industry has come up with a Swiss timepiece to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Iconic Big Bang collection. All set to make its appearance at the BaselWorld 2015, Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold watch is as exclusive as it can get. Made from the fusion of a revolutionary material they call the Magic Gold, this watch is world’s only scratch-resistant 18k gold watch. This material created by Hublot is twice as hard as standard 18 carat gold since it is 1,000 Vickers while standard 18 carat gold is only 400 Vickers.

This watch is full-proof to any kind of surface degradation because of its revolutionary material and can only be damaged by a sharp diamond. This composite material is manufactured by using a very complex method that involves heating of carbide powder at very high temperature. After that the material is fused with 24 carat gold to produce the magic material.

The watch is water resistant to 100 meters distance and comes with HUB 1242 UNICO movement. The 45 mm diameter case is polished in Magic Gold and the Bezel is polished in Magic Gold with 6 H-shaped black PVD treated titanium screws.

Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold will be limited to 250 pieces with each one of it having Hublot Automatic flyback chronograph consisting of a column wheel and double clutch system. It took almost three years to create this timepiece and no wonder it is so meticulously designed with the customary Hublot DNA branding.

We’ll have to wait until BaselWorld for the official pricing and availability of this limited edition watch. But it is quite obvious that it will carry a hefty price tag, just like other timepieces from Hublot.
