Lego Ferrari F40 with removable V8 engine is bliss for supercar and Lego fans
The most iconic supercar of the late 1980s with a style revolution when we talk of dynamic design is most definitely Ferrari F40. So Lego Creator teamed-up with Ferrari to build a Lego replica of the F40 supercar that was personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. To make it look exactly like the real car, designer Michael Psiaki used 1,158 Lego pieces and some custom made parts like the windshield, wheel rim inserts, bows that represent the pillars that support roof of the car and headlights.
This Lego creation rivals all the other precisely made replicas for its sheer function, like the movable front headlight unit, side ducts as air intake units and a removable replica of the twin turbo-charged 2.9-liter V8 engine. According to Michael the most challenging parts of this Lego Ferrari F40 due to their large moving sections were the engine cover and front hood.

The front luggage compartment of the car has Lego blocks that represent the tool kits and creative geeks can put them together to make their own creation. Doors of the Lego car are also replicated to perfectness with hinges that pull-up. Interior of the F40 is also made with attention to detail as the two red racing seats and steering wheel are exact representation of the original car.
Lego Ferrari F40 measures 3-inch x 10”-inch and 5”-inch (HXLXW) in total and is listed as suitable for people aged 14 or more. Good news for Lego and Ferrari fans is that this Lego supercar is going to be available for purchase at a price tag of $90 in US and £69.99 in UK.
