Polaroid Cube+ action camera targeted towards urban adventure seekers
Polaroid has added another action camera dubbed Polaroid Cube+ to their list of accessories aimed towards lifestyle adventure living. This WiFi-enabled camera is next iteration of the Polaroid Cube action cam that was missing wireless connectivity and Polaroid announced the cube camera at CE Week 2015. This 35mm square-shaped camera works with both Android and iOS devices which is good and necessary feature. The camera goes one-on-one with the GoPro line of action cameras as it can be attached to bike helmet, home appliances and anything else that you can think of.
Just like its predecessor, the camera can take still images and shoot 1080p videos in 8MP quality which can then be uploaded and shared with friends instantly. Polaroid Cube+ camera can shoot 124-degree wide-angle shots and the duration of recording stretches to about 90 minutes in 1080 full HD. This action cam is water-resistant to a depth of 6.5-feet and with a microSD slot up to 32GB you can record quite lengthy videos.
The action camera has a single button to keep things simple and on the outside it has been rendered with a very appealing look. The color options have also been increased from original blue, black and red to hot pink and glow-in-the-dark green.
Polaroid Cube+ will have compatibility with a variety of accessories like bumper case, strap mount, suction cup mount, waterproof case and tripod mount. The accessory will be available in August for a price tag of $150, so you better get ready for some action.
