Blackberry Venice could be a 5.4-inch curved glass display phone
Every leak that comes from Evan Blass (a.k.a @evleaks) turns out to be real and that makes him the most trusted leakster in the cloud. This time it is concrete evidence as Evan has tweeted with images that secret Blackberry Venice smartphone is confirmed for November release date in U.S. This Android 5.x phone has been in works for some time now and was hinted a month ago along with the Blackberry Prague phone. As you can see from the images it definitely runs on Android 5.x version since there are PlayStore and Google Keep apps.
Blackberry is banking on Android to again revive its dwindling fortunes in smartphone market with a niche keyboard slider smartphone that is unique in its own rights. The screen looks to have 5.4-inch curved glass on the edges and should not be confused for a curved edge smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. There is not much other information on the specifications, but the phone could be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB RAM if rumors in the cloud are to be believed.
It won’t be surprising if Blackberry teases this phone at IFA in Berlin since November is also not too far, if at that time Venice will be officially launched.
