Concept iPhone 7 without home button has a edge-to-edge curved screen
iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are doing reasonably well in the market, but the phones retaining the same design as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has not been received with real enthusiasm by many Apple fanboys. While the world is busy speculating what the next version of the iPhone would look like, designer Marek Weidlich has created his version of the iPhone 7, which is line with what most experts are predicting – a iPhone without a home button. Marek’s design proposes a radical change in the iPhone’s design, which removes the home button and turns the phone into a single touchscreen.
The concept iPhone 7 is so much what the industry experts believe. It is believed that next gen iPhone will feature drastic redesign, and that it will be the first iPhone to dump the traditional home button.
Describing his conceptual iPhone 7, Marek says;
I focused on simple design language which is very important for Apple. I designed a curved display without a bezel, and equipped with a software home button. The back rounded body is designed in an aluminium material supplemented with a plastic strip for better holding.
iPhone 7 can abandon the home button in favor of the 3D Touch screen (found on the iPhone 6s). But if the home button goes, Apple will have to find another place for the Touch ID sensor used to unlock the phone.
Previous rumors about the iPhone 7 suggest a better battery and a slimmer form factor. According to famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 7 will be the slimmest iPhone every, measuring only 6mm thick.
