Parrot Bebop 2 drone has improved battery life and extended flying range
One year after its refreshing approach to amalgamate augmented reality and drone technology, Parrot has come out with a new version of the Bebop drone at a press conference in San Francisco. Expectedly, Bebop 2 drone comes with an improved flight time and increased speed which have been achieved by a bigger 2,700mAh battery pack and improved thrust-to-weight ratio. In effect the drone can fly non-stop for 25 minutes so that you can capture wide-angle shots with its 180-degree field of view lens.
Improved flight time, speed and dynamic shooting range are all the talking points of Bebop 2 drone
Parrot Bebop 2 drone has an improved image stability courtesy its three-axis digital stabilization which ensures amazing aerial video shots. 8GB of memory space gives you the freedom to shoot 1080p videos of pretty long duration. With top speed of 37 miles per hour you can very well imagine the kind of shots you’ll get. The fact that you can control Parrot Bebop 2 drone with your Android/iOS device (with FreeFlight 3 app) and see the live feed on AR headsets like Oculus Rift makes it even more special.
Parrot Bebop 2 drone will now come with an optional Skycontroller that’ll extend flying range to a total of 2km. That is one good reason to buy one this holiday season. The new age drone is all set to be available for purchase from December 14 onwards at a price of $549.99. If you want the optional Skycontroller for extended range (6,561 feet extension) the price will go up to $799.99
