It was CES and Star Wars craze is at its epitome. So it would be safe to say you would see something from the super galactic empire that would rock the show beyond comprehension. And a life-sized Stormtrooper from Star Wars: The Force Awakens is what stole the limelight at CES 2016. Even better it is completely 3D printed. Made from 40 different 3D printed pieces, this is the creation of Anovas Productions who say that there are going to be many more such Stormtroopers to promote the movie.

They designed it using 3D Systems printers and did an excellent job as the Stormtrooper statue looks amazingly real. It has a finely polished white armor and the signature helmet having black accents. A Stormtrooper won’t be a feared villain if it doesn’t have a Lightsaber or a gun, so this model has a standard laser gun firmly held in the hands.

Apparently, the movie itself had its fair share of 3D printed parts as parts of the Stormtrooper outfits were 3D printed and yes it was 3D Systems who did that too.

This model is specially made for CES 2016 and its presence at the show is a good way to promote the movie itself.
