iPhone 7 image, schematic leaked – reveals dual-camera, no smart connector
Amid all the iPhone 7 rumors, new set of images and a schematic have appeared on Chinese website Baidu. The images are considered to be of the real iPhone 7 since these were supposedly sourced from a Chinese Apple supplier. The images show CNC machining plates and the schematic describes tolling dimensions. The newly leaked images could be for real but you’d know its nothing surprising. Every passing day the market is rife with rumors surrounding Apple and its new offerings. There is a long list of rumors made earlier this year about major changes in iPhone’s new models.
Although, previously rumored smart connector ports are missing in the leaked images, but the larger 5.5 iPhone 7 Plus model does show inclusion of dual-lens camera. As an upgrade, smaller 4.7-inch model shows larger camera aperture and supposedly accommodates iSigh Camera module and small holes for Apple’s True Tone flash module with a single microphone.
The leaked images brush aside rumors about a new 256GB storage option, suggesting Apple would stick to 16GB/64GB/128GB for Plus model.
The new leak has further confused analysts who are now narrowing down their prediction for iPhone 7, which is likely to be released this fall.
The nature of rumors suggest Apple is under tremendous pressure to maintain its sale. Analysts further suggest that apple may not be able to keep up its breakneck speed of growth forever.
