This is what the rumored iPhone 7 would look like
Rumors surrounding iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, two anticipated offerings from Apple, are not going to die down before the handsets are actually launched in September (expected launch time for this year’s iPhones). Rumors highlight five major features including smart connector, dual lens camera, touch sensitive home button, better concealed antenna strips and no 3.5 headphone jack. In recent iPhone 7 renders designed by Mathijs Schrauwen and revealed by iPhoned, the designer has shown what the actual iPhone 7 would look like with all the projected features and exciting UI of the recently revealed iOS 10.
In addition to the abovementioned features, Apple is also expected to announce the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in a new color – not a shade of gray – but in a deep blue shade (check out a mockup created by Martin Hajek below). Schrauwen however ditches the shade for his own flavor of space gray in his concept.
Schrauwen’s renderings show an iPhone 7 with dual lens camera and an additional infrared sensor, which are placed alongside the horizontal flash. iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are expected to keep the same form factor from the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, but the renderings here have honored the rumors and replaced antenna bands to top and bottom of the iPhone.
Schrauwen has a brand new home button on his rendering. This is a touch sensitive home button that does not need to be pressed like in the previous iPhones. The rumors have been ripe about iPhone 7 getting the smart connector seen previously on the iPad Pro, Schrauwen has revealed his renders with the three magical dots on the back, which gives us an idea what the iPhone 7 would look like with a smart connector in the rear.
