World’s largest Nerf gun fires cannon to the length of a football field
Nerf guns, whether they are homemade or purchased from a toy store are always on the top list of kids. Not only that, these safe guns can shoot anything that won’t cause any harm. For this very reason Nerf guns are the inspiration for any DIY creation by people obsessed with guns for fun. Mark Rober, an electrical engineer and YouTuber, seems be one such guy, and he has taken his Nerf gun DIY to another level which is both intimidating and cool.
This is his idea of a Nerf N-Strike Maverick gun which is one of the most iconic Nerf gun of all time. A four-foot tall Nerf Gun which shoots equally humungous darts (made from pool noodles stuffed with toilet plungers) at speed of 40 miles per hour. The gun gets its power from a 3,000 PSI air tank filled with CO2 with 80 PSI reserve cylinder. Compared to a regular size Nerf gun, this over-sized version shoots at much slower speed, in-fact around 30 miles per hour slower owing to the bigger size.

Mark and his team did not stop at that and proceeded into making a powerful Nerf gun by increasing the power of this gun. To test its ability, they obliterated watermelons from point blank range. They tested the gun (more of a cannon) with pneumatic air system and black powder dust. Compressed air system performed better and they based the gun on pneumatic gun system.
