Mini Space X Falcon 9 nails tough landing in a swimming pool

Mini Falcon 9 landing

Elon Musk’s dream of space tourism is inching closer to practicality with the four-storey tall Falcon 9 spacecraft which has been undergoing rigorous testing in the last year or so. The testing has been fruitful and the two stage rocket looks on course for what’s been planned by Elon Musk. One of its achievement has been landing on a drone ship in the middle of an ocean. While all this is exciting for the world and astronomy lovers, another hobbyist [ajw61185] has posted a video on Youtube which replicates the Falcon 9 landing sequence in a scaled down version.

Just imagine how tough it was for the real Falcon 9 to land!

This exact scaled down model of Space X’s rocket is built around a Blade Inductrix 200 Toy drone which makes it fly around. To make it look exactly like the Falcon 9 spacecraft, a few model toy rocket parts have been used. And what’s a rocket without a flame for propulsion. So, they have used a detachable flame which emulates the landing sequence. The flying thing has landing legs that can be deployed in mid-flight.

In the video description [ajw61185] has said that this model is made for fun, to pay respect to the efforts of people who have contributed in building this future-forward spacecraft which will space tourism possible in the coming years.
