BOSEbuild Bluetooth Speaker kit allows kids to build their own speaker
DIY gadgets are a rage these days, and how could a manufacturer such as Bose stay behind in the league. Embracing the maker movement, to allow buyers become makers, BOSEbuild educational division has revealed a DIY speaker. Dubbed the BOSEbuild Bluetooth Speaker, this is a project as Bose explains, to “Discover how your world works.” The customizable speaker much bigger in size than a regular Bose speaker, features larger components so that they are easy to tinker with.
Priced at around $149, the BOSEbuild Bluetooth Speaker is designed to allow kids (eight years and upward) to learn the basics of building and principle of sound. The Bluetooth speaker can also be operated through a 3.5mm cable.
In addition to being bigger in size, the speaker system is robust. It is made to withstand careless treatment and occasion falls considering kids are going to try their hands on it.
BOSEbuild Bluetooth Speaker kit comes with a speaker panel, a control panel, eight silhouette panels and four panels on the sides. Additionally, it features a magnet and coil that make for the speaker itself. The best part about the speaker is that it can be assembled without the use of any soldering or tools. The parts can be fastened with reusable clips.
BOSEbuild Bluetooth Speaker cube comes with a dedicated app, which features tutorials for assembling the speaker.
