LeEco Le2S – 8GB RAM phone that’ll put your PC to shame!
Chinese phone manufacturers are making some serious headway when we speak of flagships. I would even go to the extent of saying that they are slowly killing the existing flagships into extinction. That is a heavy statement, but the latest development prompted me to say so. LeEco, the Chinese Technology Company is rumored to be working on an 8GB smartphone model which is most probably going to be their flagship Le2S. Yes you heard it right. 8GB RAM in a smartphone!
According to GizChina the phone having a 5.5-inch display will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Le2S will have 64GB in-built storage, but it is not clear of the phone will have a MicroSD card slot for expanding memory. Other than that the phone will have fingerprint scanning, a thumping camera and run on the upcoming Android Nougat OS.
LeEco will make its debut on the rumored date of September 7 or September 8. If that date rings a bell, then you are right as Apple is going to announce the much anticipated iPhone 7 on September 7.
Having 8GB RAM is one thing and usage of that RAM is completely another. Some existing Android devices having 3-4 GB RAM are known to have lags. Compare that to 1GB iPhone which has excellent RAM management, and you’ll know what I mean.
I hope Android Nougat has sorted that aspect and 8GB RAM is finally going to allow you to play multiple games at the same time.
