IFA 2016: LG Ultrawide curved monitors for gamers and homeowners
IFA 2016 in Berlin is just a few days away, and LG Electronics has already announced their preparation for the mega event. The Korean electronics manufacturer is going to reveal their line-up of UltraWide monitors for home and gaming. For starters they are going to take the drape off their 21:9 UltraWide gaming monitor and 38-inch UltraWide curved monitor, both of which boast a wide field of view, vivid colors and easy to use interface.
# 38-Inch UltraWide Curved Monitor (Model: 38UC99)
This new age monitor has IPS UltraWide QHD+ (3840 x 1600) resolution and an extensive color gamut whichfor covers almost 99 percent of the sRGB color spectrum. Combined with the crisp picture quality, this curved monitor promises immersive viewing for an unmatchable experience. It is also the first monitor to have USB Type-C port which all goes well for future connectivity options. You can also use this connectivity to charge your mobile devices. The audio is also quite impressive with 10W built-in Bluetooth speakers for deep rich sound.
38UC99 UltraWide cured monitor will carry a price tag of $1,499 USD and will launch in mid-September.
# IPS 21:9 Curved UltraWide Gaming Monitor (Model: 34UC79G)
This is the world’s first 144Hz IPS 21:9 Curved UltraWide gaming monitor which has superior refresh rate and one millisecond Motion Blur Reduction technology which is ideal for action packed games. Further, the monitor has accurate color display even from the most extreme angles. To increase the accuracy of FPS games, the monitor has crosshair option which fixes target to the center of screen. For reducing resistance caused by mouse cable, the monitor has mouse link hook.
Talking point of the 34UC79G gaming monitor is its 21:9 aspect ratio which promises immersive action for gamers who settle for nothing less than the best.
It is going to carry a price tag of $599 USD and is slated for a November release.
# UltraWide Gaming Monitor (Model: 34UM79G)
Along with these two models, LG also announced the non-curved screen version of these ultra-wide monitors. 34UM79G has a traditional flat screen with Google Chromecast compatibility. This model will cost $699 with October launch promised by the electronics giant.
