Moto Mods Contest: Pitch your own idea and win funding opportunity
Motorola is struggling to roll-out a worthy competitor against ultra high-tech smartphones pouring down into electronic market. Currently, Motorola has its hopes invested in Moto Z and Moto Z Play. However, the company has also played a new card in an attempt to rejuvenate its productivity. Motorola has teamed up with Verizon and Indiegogo to organize a contest in which developers would be invited to create their own Moto Mods.
The winners would get a chance to pitch for funding after meeting Motorola’s core executive team at its headquarters in Chicago.
Motorola had already released the Moto Mods Development Kit (MDK) to allow everyone to come forward and create their own Mod. So far, Motorola claims, the kit have everything that can turn a phone into a camera, a movie projector, a speaker, and even as an extra battery pack.
