Apple iPhone 8 rumored to have 5.8-inch curved screen minus the home button
Whenever a new version of Apple iPhone is on the cards, people anticipate it with eagerness. The hype over recently launched iPhone 7 models has begun to settle down, and just in time another news comes in regarding the next iteration of Apple iPhone models. Apple iPhone 8 (that’s what preassembly it will be called) is going to have a bezel-less curved screen design in a larger format, according to Barclays Research analysts Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O’Malley, and Jerry Zhang. This report comes based on the sources inside the Apple’s supply chain.
It seems that the big screen format for flagships followed by major players in the smartphone market is going to have a bearing on the next iPhone. The curved – bezel screen is going to be either 5-inch/5.8-inch or both in different variants. Ideally that is going to make Apple iPhone a phablet just like other major flagship phones, mostly Android smartphones.
The smaller iPhone 8 model is going to supersede the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 with the 5-inch model while iPhone 8 Plus will have the huge 5.8-inch screen size as compared to 5.5-inch screen of the iPhone 7 Plus. Also, they will have OLED display technology (supplied by LG and Samsung) for a sharper and brighter display which is more energy efficient. There are also rumors about the home button being removed from the next Apple iPhone models.
Apple iPhone 8 model(s) are going to debut in 2017 and from now on we’ll surely have more on this development. The phone is speculated for a late September 2017 launch.
