Yi first made waves with $100 Xiaomi Yi action camera, now Atlas Dynamics has tagged up with Yi to deliver Yi Erida drone (a new sensation). Yi Erida is developed by Atlas Dynamics and it features a YI 4K camera onboard. It is first consumer drone made from carbon fiber. Unveiled at CES 2017, Yi Erida was shown in flight for the first time. Made from lightweight carbon fiber, the drone can reach speeds of up to 75 mph (approximately 120kmph), and it can remain airborne for almost 40 minutes, Atlas Dynamics claim. Read More…

Intel debuts Project Alloy VR headset at CES 2017

At the CES 2017, Intel demoed its in-the-works Project Alloy VR headset, which turns pre-scanned room furniture into a game scene in virtual reality. The idea of transforming real environment into virtual reality is something Intel is referring to as Mixed Reality. A team of science students from West Brook High School in Beaumont, Texas, USA have really made the impossible possible. The team has 3D printed a prosthetic hand that costs less than £40 for Caleb Morrison, a 16-year-old from East Kilbride in Scotland. Caleb was born without right wrist and hand. Earlier, Caleb was using a basic prosthetic arm but he is really excited to use the new 3D printed hand that reached him a week before Christmas. Read More…
