Polar brand has announced its new smart fitness wearable named the Team Pro Shirt that would be launched in March this year. The shirt features network of built-in sensors and it’s basically a fitness tracking system that combines GPS and motion tracing technology with heart rate monitoring that would make it more efficient to track player performance in team sports. Quadrofoil claims to have used highly advance naval technology and C-shape hydrofoils to let you glide over water surface at a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The craft is designed in accordance with the natural flow of water to provide optimum stability, control, and efficiency.  The concept of using hydrofoils isn’t new, but its implementation in Qaudrofoil is appreciable.

The reservations are open from Dec 13 and the sneakers can be picked up from the Adidas NYC store.  The company claims that these sneakers are the beginning of the revolution in customized shoe manufacturing.  Although, current version is little expensive, the future looks brighter for customized 3D-printed sneakers. The shoe we are talking about is being called 3D Runner, which is an engineered 3D web structure.  The high force areas are denser as compared to low force areas.  It helps in enhancing performance of the wearer, claims the company. Artist Sue Austine is known as the first man to create an underwater-wheelchair for disabled and had displayed what could be achieved with it. However, it was an expensive scuba-diving piece of hardware that was beyond common man’s reach. However, now, Igor Skikevich, a 51-years-old disabled Russian man, claims to have invented Submarine-Wheelchair – an affordable scuba-diving wheelchair.  He is seen giving a demonstration in a video.  Igor is seen doing all kind of underwater stunts and movements to show how flexible the ride is. Eyesight AR SmartglassesEverysight, a part of Israel’s largest defense technology contractor Elbit Systems, has revealed Raptor – augmented reality smartglasses with a view equivalent to fighter jet display.  The glasses offer on-lens projections. The smartglasses are primarily developed with an aim to enhance performance and training of cyclists and triathletes.  The concept is to enable the user to view all critical information in real time like turn-by-turn naviation, time, distance, speed, heart rate, cadence, power without making him look at some other display, without obstruction.

Good news for soccer fans has just come in as they’ll be able to show-off their skills at Atlanta’s MARTA public transit system. Yes you read that right, as Atlanta United Football Club has funded the MARTA public transit system to create the world’s first soccer field inside a metro station. Just imagine the size of this transit system would be so huge that it will fit inside Atlanta’s downtown hub, Five Points. The authorities have done so because they want to encourage Atlanta’s youth to go for sports like soccer.
