LeEco has debut two new smart bikes at the CES 2017 with new features and integrated Android 6.0 Marshmallow that is specifically tailored for cycling and can support some third party sensors as well. One of them is a mountain bike while other is a road bike. Both bikes are given 4-Inch touchscreen that can display turn-by-turn directions to the rider with a simplified menu. It has a compass, a barometer and a speedometer to keep track of journey’s data including speed, distance, covered etc. The cycles have 4 LTE Radio and rider can play music, both online and offline, talk to fellow cyclists via on-bard walkie-talkie and share rides or data with them. Waverly Labs has launched its latest innovation the Pilot – a pair of earbuds that can fit inside the human ear and translate foreign languages in real time with only a trivial lag. Two people who don’t have a common language to communicate can easily talk to each other with Pilot. Information about the technology is thin on ground as the company didn’t tell anything except that it uses “translation technology” with an embedded application. Of course, it does, but we were looking for some more details. Facts hint at something similar to Microsoft owned Skype Translator that is already offering similar service in voice and video calls.
