Chevrolet is not a name you’d generally associate with Legos. But the automotive giant has done the unthinkable. In collaboration with Lego Masters, Chevrolet has debuted a surprising new life-size Lego Batmobile modeled after the Batman’s Speedwagon from The Lego Batman Movie. GM Chairman and Chief Executive Mary Barra showed-off the Chevy all-electric Bolt EV prototype at CES 2016. This takes ahead the brand’s plan to foray into the lucrative electric car market and give users an affordable option as compared to the steeply priced Tesla Model S. 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV is going to be priced at $30,000 which is almost half than the Model S. Plus it can go 200 miles (320 km/h) on one single charge.

After being shown-off briefly at CES 2015, more details of 2016 Chevrolet Volt rolled-in at the Detroit Auto Show 2015 in Cobo Center. The hybrid electric car concept all set to roll-out in 2016 is an improvement on its predecessor with a lightweight electric propulsion system that has improved performance courtesy its 18.4 kWh battery. This means an improvement of 12 miles on the last year’s model when it comes to going on electric power alone which accounts to 50 miles.

Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept car

Chevrolet has unveiled the Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept car at Los Angeles Auto Show. Celebrating the 15th anniversary of PlayStation racing game Gran Turismo 6, the concept car has been created as a part of Vision Gran Turismo project. Combining elements of future and the past, the concept car is inspired from innovative race cars of Texas-based Chaparral Racing, one of Chevrolet’s historic automotive partners. Created at General Motor’s Hollywood Advanced Design studio in California, Jim Hall, Chaparral founder was also involved in the design making process of the car. It took about a year developing the car while the physical model was assembled in just three months.
