Android-based Moto smartphones have come a long way. The phones are a hit with mid-range phone takers and have helped revive consumer trust in Motorola. Now, the company says many of its smartphones including the Moto Z and Moto Z Force are scheduled for Android 7.0 Nougat update, which should rollout by end of November. With the update, Moto Z and Moto Z Force will become the first phones outside of Google’s own hardware to support Daydream – Google’s mobile virtual reality headset announced in October this year. As promised, Lenovo’s Tech World 2016 in San Francisco marked the launch of much anticipated Moto Z and Moto Z Force phones. Slated as the slimmest and lightest flagship out there, the phone has sleek design aesthetics and comes with the refreshing MotoMod snap-on back panels to enhance various hardware features. Moto Z is just 5.2mm thick and that means a lower battery power of 2600 mAh. While Moto Z Force measuring 155.90 x 75.80 x 7.00 mm has a respectable 3500 mAh battery pack. Both these phones are going to be available globally from September this year, loaded with Android Marshmallow OS, and in all probability upgradable to the next Android OS.
