Chevrolet has unveiled the Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept car at Los Angeles Auto Show. Celebrating the 15th anniversary of PlayStation racing game Gran Turismo 6, the concept car has been created as a part of Vision Gran Turismo project. Combining elements of future and the past, the concept car is inspired from innovative race cars of Texas-based Chaparral Racing, one of Chevrolet’s historic automotive partners. Created at General Motor’s Hollywood Advanced Design studio in California, Jim Hall, Chaparral founder was also involved in the design making process of the car. It took about a year developing the car while the physical model was assembled in just three months.

Portable handheld gaming consoles like PlayStation Vita are exciting gadgets for playing graphics intensive games, but somehow they lack the precision and control that comes from a PlayStation 4 controller. So Andy Robertson hacked PlayStation Vita to get the native Dual Shock 4 control to the handheld gaming device. The trick was to bypass Remote Play option with Dual Shock 4 that PS Vita shows and automatically turns it off barring the user from using it. So, by logging-in with second account on a separate Dual Shock 4 controller the Remote Play option is bypassed, as it perceives the controller to be connected to some other device and thereafter PS Vita can be controlled with Dual Shock 4 controller. Magically the second Dual Shock controller home screen starts and the game can be controlled from there on with no hassles whatsoever.
