This Lego guitar would work for a pro

Lego guitar

If can say Lego and guitar in the same breath – Lego guitar should be your next make! Certainly not a new concept, we have seen a few Lego guitars, all best in their own rights. So, what’s up with this one? YouTube user Nicola Pavan says, this is second prototype of the Lego guitar and unlike the previous one, or many more that we have seen in the past, has a body made entirely of Legos. Interestingly, without any wood support! Beat that you builder! Improving upon the previous guitar – Nicola has used glue (instead of mobile bridge, which made tuning difficult) on the screws, and trust me, this Lego guitar sounds as good as the real one, if not better. The Swarm: Multi-rotor super drone with a crazy dude riding it in flight!

The Swarm super drone

All the drones that we have seen so far have been interesting, but none compares to this gigantic manned vehicle which is driven by a swarm of quadcopters working in harmony. Created by a Brit who is a diehard aviation fanatic, this super drone is a combination of 54 polycarbonate drones fitted into a metal frame, capable of lifting a full-grown adult off the ground and in the air. Youtube user [Gas Turbine 101] has named his creation “The Swarm” inspired by the sound all these drones make together which is more like the buzzing of bees around a beehive.

What first started off as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) became so popular with people that they wanted to have one for themselves too. This ingenious 3D printed gun shoots out paper planes!

Gun that shoots paper planes

How can we forget the good old paper planes that set our imagination high and gave us one more reason to soar high in the sky? Seeking for a way to capture our dreams. Paper planes that defined our childhood and in a way taught us unconsciously all about the right balance and aerodynamic design. One modern day junkie decided to take help of 3D printing and come up with one of the most intuitive DIY that I have seen thus far. Youtube user [Papierfliegerei] made a paper plane shooting gun using German 3D printing website fabberhouse.de and help from the internet.

Call of Duty fan fabricates detailed Ghosts weapons from Legos

Call of Duty fan fabricates Ghosts weapons

Playable dogs or not, Call of Duty: Ghosts is surely getting hammered by Metacritic user scores. However, that hasn’t stopped a presumably long time CoD fan (YouTuber ‘ZaziNombies’) from making replicas of almost all of Ghosts’ weapons. The chosen material for the video game induced project is of course the one-and-only Lego bricks. And, the end results are nothing short of boisterously bad-ass! As we can see from the above image, the hand held pistol replicates the Russian standard military-issue side arm MP-443 Grach. And, the best part is – the entirely Lego made recreation is not just cool on the aesthetic level, but also comprises of removable parts and actual slide action.

Wheelbarrow motorbike

For us personal mobility vehicles are the future of transportation. A future wherein geeks will get around without polluting the surroundings on their own mean machines. Internal combustion engine-powered wheelbarrow (video below) is the latest personal mobility bike which isn’t green but is mean in all respects. Created by a teenage DIY-er in Poland’s countryside, the wheelbarrow motorbike isn’t as chic as the Honda robotic unicycle, but it is by far the freakiest creative thing we have seen in a while. Details on the creation are scanty, so for now we’ll leave you with the little rider, who by riding this quickest wheelbarrow ever wearing a helmet, makes it street legal in his own little way. Enjoy the vid! Read More…
